An effect of not brushing your teeth is that you can get a lot of diseases too. An example of a disease that you can get can be Gingivitis. Another thing thing that you can get is cavities. If you think those two are bad, could you imagine having bad smelling breath as well. This is usually due to the food that get’s stuck in between your teeth that eventually goes rotten. This is one of the many effects from not brushing your teeth. Many people don’t know this but every single morning that you wake up, there are millions of germs and bacteria in your mouth. If not gotten rid of, you can get cavities. Cavities is another word for rotten teeth. The place where you usually get cavities is on the top of part of your tooth, which is called the crown, and on gaps between your teeth. This is usually true because these are the two hardest places to reach while you are brushing your teeth. Not only can you get cavities but as you may know already you can get gingivitis. This is a disease that makes your gum red and puffy. It also makes your gum’s very sensitive when you brush them. So if you don’t want to get any nasty diseases, brush your teeth. Another cause of getting unhealthy teeth is eating large amounts of sugar. One example of this is drinking a lot of soda and, of course, candy. Out of all of them sticky candy is the worst because it sticks to your teeth making it harder to brush out. Smoking is also another bad way to harm your teeth. Smoking gives you yellow teeth and a cigarette smell that you almost can never get rid of. These are other ways that you can get unhealthy teeth. An effect of eating to much sugar is that you can get cavities as well because believe or not bacteria in your mouth feeds on sugar. When the bacteria feeds on the sugar, it creates plaque that creates the actual cavity. Not only that but they produce acidic compounds which are substances that put your teeth in danger. You can also get tooth aches. The part that is affected the most is your enamel. These are some of the many effects of eating to much sugar. Did you know that every single time you eat something that is high in sugar, it weakens your enamel. Enamel is the hard white layer on the outside of your teeth. Once the enamel is gone, it can never be replaced. It is also the hardest material in your body. The reason why it needs to be that hard is because your teeth need to last a lifetime. So take care of your teeth, especially your enamel. In conclusion, if you do not brush your teeth you can get cavities, gingivitis, and suffer from some real bad breath.
